1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VelvetInks ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use our Platform. By creating an account or using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before making any purchases.

3. Content & Content Rating

VelvetInks provides serialized romance fiction for entertainment purposes. All content is fictional, and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.

Our content is rated equivalent to PG-13 and is suitable for readers ages 16 and up. Our stories contain romantic themes, emotional tension, and fade-to-black intimate scenes. 4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Some stories on our Platform are created with the assistance of AI language models and reviewed by our editorial team. All content is fictional and published for entertainment purposes only. We are committed to transparency about our content creation process.

5. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person — account sharing is not permitted
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@velvetinks.com if you suspect unauthorized access

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium content can be accessed through coin purchases or a monthly subscription. All payments are processed securely through LemonSqueezy.

6.1 Subscriptions

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or LemonSqueezy
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then

6.2 Coin Purchases

• Coins are used to unlock individual premium chapters
• Purchased coins do not expire
• Coins cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash

7. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your VelvetInks experience:

• Subscriptions: If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 7 days of your most recent charge for a full refund of that billing period
• Coin purchases: Unused coins may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Coins that have already been spent on chapter unlocks are non-refundable
• How to request: Email support@velvetinks.com with your account email and reason for the refund request
• Processing time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days through the original payment method

8. Acceptable Use

When using our Platform, you agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, or commercially use any content from the Platform
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or download content
• Attempt to circumvent our payment or access control systems
• Share account credentials with others
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

9. Intellectual Property

All stories, artwork, designs, and other content on VelvetInks are the property of VelvetInks or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read content for personal, non-commercial use only. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using our Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@velvetinks.com. Upon account deletion, your reading progress and unlocked chapters will be permanently removed.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding our services, we encourage you to first contact us at support@velvetinks.com so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we are unable to reach a resolution, any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VelvetInks operates, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

13. Limitation of Liability

VelvetInks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Advertising

Our Platform displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed alongside our content.
